Do I need to Register my Business in China?

No. You can choose use your own oversea business license to register (on a case-by-case basis) a WeChat account from Tencent or through us, using a 3rd-party Chinese license to create the account. 

Do I need to Understand Chinese?

The WeChat backend interface is in Chinese. If you use the English back-end verion of WeChat (http://admin.wechat.com/) to create your WeChat Official Account, the account and content will not be visible from Mainland China.

Is Marketing on WeChat Necessary?

WeChat Official Accounts are drawing a lot of interest these days as WeChat has risen to dominate the Chinese social media space with users spend ⅓ of their smartphone time on WeChat).
